Warm up - Have Ss play the game: Noughtsand Crosses 1. Look , listen and repeat - Introduce the dialogue - Teach the new word and new sentence. - Check some pairs. 2. Point and say - Give the meaning of some words 3. Listen and tick - Ask some questions to ensure pupils’ comprehension of the listening text. Conclusion and homework |
- Play the game in groups.
- Ss look at the picture and identify the characters and what they are doing. - Listen and repeat the dialogue twice. - Give new word and new sentence and then note down. Read new words after T. Where are you from?- I’m from England/ Japan. - Ss read the dialogue. - Ss look at the picture and identify the characters and what they are doing. - Repeat new words. Then note down. - Ss work in pair ask & answer. Ss to imagine they are Hakim, ....Akio. They introduce themselves and ask where their partner is from - 6-7 pairs perform. The rest of the class observe and give comments. - Look at pictures on page 13 of the Student Book. Indentify the characters in each picture. Guess the answer. -Listen to the recording & tick the pictures they hear - Check their guess. Compare the answer with the partner. - Give the key Answer: 1.b2.a3.c -Ss to do A,B at home. |
