In order to protect the environment, several methods must be implemented. Firstly, we should reduce the use of fossil fuels for energy because they are the main cause for air pollution. We can use alternative sources like solar and wind energy. Secondly, more trees should be planted to decrease the level of deforestation. As such, the amount of carbon footpront can go down as trees can absorb this gas. Last but not least, raising people's awareness of the environment is of great importance. As long as people act responsibly to the environment, the environment will be better protected.
