In Oregon, the government made a new law several years ago. They said that there must be a deposit on all drink cans. The deposit is returned when people bring the cans back for recycling Compost : Farmers have recycled their waste for thousands of years. They grow food for their animals and use the dung for fertilizing their fields. They also collect household and garden waste to make compost. Compost is a wonderful fertilizer . It helps plants grow. Newspaper : Newspaper are commonly recycled into paperboard, new newsprint, insulation and animal bedding products. Recycling newspapers saves valuable space in landfills. Put newspapers in paper bags or tie bundles with string. In general, you can include any inserts (advertisements, comics) originally delivered with the paper.
