Banh Chung is a traditional dish of Vietnam. It is to show the gratitude of children to ancestors and to the nature. The ingredients for banh chung include: sticky rice, green beans, pork, lard and dong leaves. Banh Chung is often made for Tet holiday and some other traditional occasions. A few days before Tet holiday, the whole family usually gather together and make it.
First, arrange dong leaves to the right position, spread a layer of sticky rice, then a layer of green beans, a piece of pork and lard, another layer of green beans and finish with a layer of sticky rice. Fold the leaves into the right form and tie everything together by bamboo string. 
Banh Chung is boiled in 8 to 12 hours before taken out and left to drain.
