A s lying in the centre of Mekong Delta of southern Vietnam, Vinh Long province is the unique province that has boundaries with 07 provinces and cities namely Tien Giang, Ben Tre, Tra Vinh, Dong Thap, Hau Giang, Soc Trang and Can Tho City. Vinh Long province is 136km far from Ho Chi Minh City to the north, 33km far from Can Tho city to the south. Its population is over 01 million including ethnics of Kinh, Khmer and Chinese living in an area of 1.520km2. Vinh Long Province is featured by the special geography. It is located in the Mekong Delta downstream between the Tien and Hau rivers linked by Mang Thit River from north to south.
