In my family, there are many customs and traditions passed down from generation to generation. Firstly, members of my family must use our own bowls and chopsticks. I do like this custom as it brings out no inconvenience between each family member. Second, on the weekend, our family always have a trip to our hometown, where my grandparents live. We visit our grandparents and stay there for one day and a half. Another tradition of my family is that meals must be eaten together. We gather around the table and eat with our family. I have no problem with all those abovementioned customs and traditions. I feel so happy to be a part of this wonderful family.

In the last days of the year, Vietnamese people have the custom of cleaning their houses, buying new appliances and clothes. Adults also advise their children and grandchildren, in the moment of transfer, there will be no quarrels, no blame or mistakes. Those who have aversion to each other also erase it all, the New Year's moment only congratulates each other for good things and luck.
Right from December 23, Vietnamese families have cleaned the kitchen to worship Mr. Cong and Mr. Tao, the traditional ceremony requires goldfish to see him off to heaven, hope he will report to Ngoc Hoang. Good thing because according to folk belief this is the day when Ngoc Hoang will blame or reward the owner based on what Mr. Tao reported.
