Each country around the world has its distinctive and Vietnam is no exception. If you want to mention Vietnam, you should difinitely mention the Tet festival which is the traditional cultural symbol of Vietnam. It is also known as Lunar New Year holiday. It usually occurs at the end of january and lasts for 3 days. Tet is an occasion to welcome the new year with many blessings. The Vietnamese people usually decorate their houses with peach blossoms, apricot blossoms and many parallel sentences. Besides that, spring cleaning is also an activities that many people do on Tet. They imagine that act can dispel the bad things of the past year. What’s more, some families enjoy this festival by preparing traditional food such as Vietnamese square cake, dried candied fruits and Vietnamese cylindrial sticky rice cake. Especially for children, I think they look forward to Tet holiday because they can receive a bunch of lucky money from adults as a way to give them best wishes for the new year. Hence, I think without Tet, lots of family members will be seperated because of the hustle and bustle of live and forget the whole family. That’s a reason why I really enjoy tet festival
