Activity 1. Which household chores do you like doing and which do you dislike? Write your answers to the questions in the table below and add a reason.

- Cooking => Like => I like eating

- Cleaning the bathroom => Dislike => It’s dirty.

- Washing the dishes => Like => It’s easier and quicker than cooking.

- Taking out the rubbish => Dislike => It’s dirty.

- Watering the plants l=> Like => I can enjoy the nature.

Activity 3. Have a similar conversation with a partner. Find out which chores she / he likes or dislikes the most and why. Report your findings to the class.

Anna: What household chores do you do every day?

Mai: I take out garbage, water plants in the garden and iron clothes.

Anna: Which of the chores do you like doing the most?

Mai: Well, I think I like watering plants the most.

Anna: What do you like about it?

Mai: Because I love watching beautiful flowers planted by my father and living in nature.

Anna: Which of the chores do you dislike doing the most?

Mai: Ironning is what I dislike the most because it takes me a lot of time to finish and sometimes I feel backache after finishing it.
