I am an engineer, but when I was in college, I worked in a science lab at my school. It was my first job. It was my duty to take care of the lab.
To begin with, I was in charge of cleaning the equipment. In addition, I was responsible for the safety of the lab. When I cleaned the equipment, I made sure nothing was broken. In my first year there, I was not in charge of other employees. After I worked at the lab for a year, I got a promotion. I was in charge of three other people on my team. I was still in charge of keeping the lab safe, but I was also in charge of buying new equipment for the lab. It was a great job because I could work my own hours. I could go to class in the morning and work at the lab in the afternoon and evening. I liked working at the lab. My manager was really nice, and I learned a lot from the scientists who worked at the lab. I also learned a lot about how to keep people safe. It is very important now in my job as an engineer. My favorite memory of working at the lab was the day the scientists won an award for their product. Everyone was very happy, and we had a big party.
