Every country has their traditional clothes. Ao Dai is known as traditional Vietnamese clothes especially women. According to dictionary the definition of Ao Dai is a long-sleeved tunic with ankle-length panels at front and back, worn over trousers. It can be designed with several colors, patterns such as: flower, nature and different kind of fabrics. Wearing Ao Dai, women dignify their body’s attraction as well as reflect a national culture. It has a progress of developing from short simple pattern to more sophisticate style. Ao Dai symbolizes many personalities of Vietnamese women: gentleness, diligence, kindness and bravery. Therefore, it’s very proud for women to put on the special clothes. Student and teacher wears white Ao Dai to high school and some university on Monday to join in the ceremony. Moreover, it is engagement party that the bloom dress in Ao Dai to represent the tradition of Vietnam. Not only in Vietnam, It is also famous in international market that an increasing number of foreign tourists try wearing Ao Dai when visiting my country. They have good comment and congratulation on it. Protecting and preserving the beauty and nature of it are not only the individual’s duty but also all of citizen. Besides, Ao Dai is a beneficial and comfortable costume that women can choose it for any event and party. Although there is a large number of new trend of fashion, Ao Dai always plays an important role in spiritual life of Vietnamese.

Tay people wear colorful costumes. The Tay's traditional costumes are made of self-woven cotton fabric, dyed with indigo uniformly on men's and women's clothing, and almost no decorative patterns. Decorative accessories are jewelry made from silver and bronze such as earrings, bangles, bracelets, relics, etc. homogeneous.

Tay ethnic costumes can be considered as one of the simplest costumes of 54 ethnic groups. The outfit was simple but meaningful to them.

Người Tày mặc các bộ trang phục có màu. Trang phục cổ truyền của người Tày được làm từ vải sợi bông tự dệt, được nhuộm chàm đồng nhất trên trang phục nam và nữ, hầu như không có hoa văn trang trí. Phụ kiện trang trí là các đồ trang sức làm từ bạc và đồng như khuyên tai, kiềng, lắc tay, xà tích,.... Ngoài ra còn có thắt lưng, giày vải có quai, khăn vấn và khăn mỏ quạ màu chàm đồng nhất.

Trang phục dân tộc Tày có thể được coi là một trong những bộ trang phục đơn giản nhất của 54 dân tộc anh em. Bộ trang phục tuy đơn giản nhưng có ý nghĩa với họ.
