My Tet this year is great. At first, my parents showed me the fireworks. The next day, my parents let me go for a walk, buying peach blossom trees and apricot flowers to put right in front of the house, which looked very beautiful. Next, I went to visit my relatives, they were very happy for my age, I also wish them good health in the new year. I think this year will be a lucky and favorable year for me.

Tết năm nay của tôi rất tuyệt. Đầu tiên, tôi đã được bố mẹ cho đi xem pháo hoa. Ngay ngày hôm sau, tôi được bố mẹ cho đi dạo phố, mua cây hoa đào và hoa mai về đặt ngay trước cửa nhà trông rất đẹp. Tiếp theo, tôi đã được đi thăm các họ hàng của mình, họ đã mừng tuổi tôi rất nhiều, tôi cũng chúc họ có sức khỏe thật tốt trong năm mới. Tôi nghĩ năm nay sẽ là năm may mắn và thuận lợi đối với tôi.

Tet is a national and family festival. It is an occasion for every Vietnamese to have a good time while thinking about the last year and the next year. At Tet, spring fairs are organized, streets and public buildings are brightly decorated and almost all shops are crowded with people shopping for Tet. At home, every is tidied, special food is cooked, offerings of food, fresh water, flowers and betel are made on the family altar with burning joss- sticks scenting the air. First-footing is made when the lucky visitor comes and children are given lucky money wrapped in a red tiny envelope. Tet is also a time for peace and love. During Tet, children often behave well and friends, relatives and neighbors give each other best wishes for the new year
