Storms are widely known as severe natural disasters. People are frightened by these phenomena because of its tremendous damage. The natural environments inland will be negatively impacted. Striking a coastal area, storms brings about several hazards such as heavy rains, high winds and so on. Trees can be toppled by high winds. People, houses, vehicles can also be blown away because of the winds. Heavy rains can cause flooding in inland places as well. This leads to the reality that many things are drowned under water after the storm. In a storm, there’s often thunders and lightening, which are highly frightening and detrimental to human’s lives. As the damages of storms are severe, people should be well-prepared for them.
