Thai or Tay is in the 3rd position of the most population ethnic in Vietnam with the population of around 1.550.423 people. They live in all 63 cities and provinces in Vietnam, but mostly in Son La, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Yen Bai. They have their own speaking and writing language call Thai, with 5 variations even. Thai people have a lot of experience in agriculture, growing paddy rice, especially sticky rice. They are very good at raising poultry and cattle as well as knitting and weaving, even with pottery in some places. Thai people are very fond of singing and dancing in their traditional way, which is often performed in most of their festivals.
