It shares its maritime its border with Thailand thourgh the gulf of Thailand, and the Philipspines, Indonesia, and Malaysia though the South China Sea. Its capital city is Ha Noi, while its most populous city and commerial hub is Ho Chi Minh city, also know by its former name of Saigon. South Vietnam victory in 1945, the North Vietnam vitory in 1975.
