Personally, I think Vietnamese people have three typical characteristics. One of the most popular characteristics is friendliness. When they see a person who they know, they always greet. They are always friendly to foreign visitors and treat these visitors very carefully. They are ready to tell foreigners about the tradition and culture of Vietnam. Another feature is hard-working characteristic. Vietnam is an agricultural country, people have to get up early to grow rice and work all day on the farm. The last characteristic is modesty. Vietnamese people do not admit their richness or their achievements and do not talk too much about these problems when having a conversation with another person. That can be traditional habit.  To sum up, friendliness, diligence and modesty are three main characteristics of Vietnamese people. I feel very proud of these characteristics. We should appreciate them and express properly to promote the tradition of our country.
