Let me tell you about a competition that I would definitely love to take part in. That would be the NBA, which stands for National Basketball Association.
Basically, it is a men's professional basketball league in North America; composed of 30 teams. At the end of the tournament, the finalists will compete with each other to win the NBA Championship trophy, champions rings, which has a grand prize of $3 million for the whole team.
About the rules, simply whoever scores more points than their opponents wins. During the game, players try to steal the ball and contest shots skillfully. For example: if any player keeps carrying the basketball without allowing it to touch the ground, the referee will consider it as a foul.
Obviously, if I joined in this tournament, I would have to bend over backward both solo and team practices, learning new strategies with the coach because it is a physically demanding sport. And perhaps I would have to ask for an absence of leave for at least a few months. You know some basketball players, Jimmy Butler, for example, had to quit school to focus on basketball to follow his dream of being a professional basketball player and now he has become the NBA superstar.
The reason why I would love to be in the tournament is because I want to challenge myself and get out of my comfort zone. Beyond that, I love playing basketball so bad, love the feeling of standing on the court and the whole crowd cheers me up and to most importantly, meet myall-time favorite basketball player - Lebron James and to play against him.
All in all, being a part of this prestigious competition will boost my confidence, give pleasure to me as well as increase my self-worth.
