There are four people in my family: my parents, my younger sister and I. My father is a 45-year-old engineer. He spends most of his time in the building sites. That’s why he has a tanned skin. As soon as he comes home, he turns on the television to watch the news, relaxes for a while and then he takes a shower. In case my mother doesn’t cook dinner yet, my father is very happy to join hands and help her. Talk about my mother, she is a 40-year-old primary school teacher. Every morning, she is the one who wakes up earliest to prepare the breakfast, clothes and necessary things for my father, me and my sister. After we leave home to work or study, my mother will have a quick breakfast and drive to the primary school. After school, she runs fast to the market, buys some fresh food and backs to home to cook lunch. My father doesn’t come home at noon so only three of us eat and talk to each other during lunch. However, the lunch is still prepared very scrupulously. In general, my mother is a gentle caring woman and sometimes she is very strict. I have a younger sister who will be 8 years old next October. My sister is pretty, docile and hard studying. Every weekend, I take her to the park to have fun and we will buy some tasty ice creams. We are quite close and sometimes she makes me very angry because of her negligent habit. The last person in my family is me. I am studying in the second year of a Business Administration major at Hong Bang University. My schedule has changed frequently and I am also trying to get a scholarship to study abroad in Canada next year so I don’t spend much time with my family. But any time when I am free I try to help my mother in household chores and take care of my sister. In my family, each person has a different responsibility but we always stand together to enjoy happy moments, overcome the difficult time and solve the problems. I understand that there is nothing that is more important than my family. I love my parents and my lovely sister so much.

I’m the only child in my family, so I have all the love from my parents. My father works at a paper factory, he has been working there since he was young. Every morning, he takes me to school and we usually have breakfast together at our favorite restaurant near our house. My mother is a nurse, she works at our local medical center. Mom is the one who picks me up after school since my father usually works late. When my mother has to stay at the workplace for a night shift, my father leaves earlier to make sure I am picked up on time and have my proper dinner. I love my small family very much.

At times like this, I feel extremely happy. I love my family very much!

I live in Hanoi with my small family, and there are four of us living together. I have a little sister who is much younger than me. I am now 18, and she is only 12. Her height is just under my shoulders a little bit, and I am sure that she will be much taller than me in the future. My high school and her secondary school are just 20m from each other, so I have the mission to take her to school and pick her up after class. My mother is a manager of the Human Resources Department of a computer company. She is tall but a little bit chubby, and she has a rather round face that make her look younger than her real age. She is always busy with her work, so we rarely have time to play with her. Sometimes she has to go on a business trip, so there are just three of us take care of each other. My father is an comic artist, so most of the time he just stays at home to finish his work. He is a thin man with messy black hair, and he has a big pair of glasses on his face. He is funny and always have some jokes that make the whole family laugh. His drawings are beautiful, and he is also a good cook. He takes a very good care of the house since my mother does not have much time, and his food are both delicious and eye – catching. I love the weekend because it is the only time that my family gathers together. I know my parents have to work hard to support the family, so I will always try my best to be a good daughter and student to make them proud.

I come from an extended family which includes six people. Although I have a lot of relatives, I only live with my grandparents, my parents and my younger sister. My grandpa used to be the captain of a frontier before he retired. He was a great man and admired by many people.
My grandfather is the person who taught me how to play badminton when I was just a five year old little kid. He took me to school on his bike for six years from I was six to eleven years old. Meanwhile, my grandmother used to be a police. She is brave, strong and very conscientious. She loves me the most among grandchildren. My grandma often gives me money for snacks.
She is very happy every time I return home from Hanoi. My grandparents love and take care of every child though we have grown up. They worry about us and think us as little kids. My father is a soldier. He is an earnest person but to us, he is generous and has great sense of humor. He has to work far from home.
Dad calls me every evening to ask if I have eaten or what I have been doing. He does not talk much but I know that he loves and cares for me a lot. My mother has been a teacher for over twenty years. She is a caring mother. My mom takes care of every member in family. Because the age gap between me and my mom is short, she is likely to be a friend of mine. We share same ideas and opinions about many things, especially food and style.
My parents are always there to support me. My sister is five years younger than me. Now she is a high school student. In contrast to me, my little sister is very energetic, active and approachable. Her personality is quite different from mine. We live in harmony with each other and have many interests in common such as music, movies and so on.
My family usually gathers to have at least one meal everyday and talk about work as well as our daily lives. We go to abroad together at least twice a year. This is time when we relax, support each other and prepare for a new semester. Like other families, we also have fights but we can talk and solve out the problems.
My family members always respect each other and become a good example for children to follow. Among members, the person I am close to the most is my grandmother. She has been a big influence on me about the way I talk, my lifestyle or even job orientation.
I get on well with her. I am proud of saying that my family is full of love and care. Their love for me is unconditional so I am deeply grateful for that. I love my family more than anything else. There is nothing I could not do for my family.
