Bài 1: Điền dạng đúng của động từ

1. Don't worry about it. You will be told if there is a change of plan.

Vì mệnh đề if chia ở thì hiện tại mệnh đề chính chia ở thì tương lai đơn. Trong câu này thì tương lai đơn chia ở thể bị động: will + be + PP
⇒ Đừng lo lắng. Bạn sẽ được bảo nếu có sự thay đổi về kế hoạch.

2. ''Can I help you?''- No, thanks. I'm just looking.

Vì sau just + v-ing (nếu k phải thì quá khứ)

⇒ "Mình có thể giúp cậu không? - Không, cảm ơn nhé, mình chỉ đang nhìn thử thôi.

Bài 2: Điền dạng đúng của từ (word form)

1. She felt relieved that she passed the exam.

⇒ Cô ấy cảm thấy nhẹ nhõm vì cô ấy đã vượt qua kỳ thi.

2. My brother lives in a (reside)............area. ( sr vì chỗ này mik k biết làm ạ T.T)

Bài 3: Viết lại câu mà nghĩa không đổi

1. John has not had his hair cut for over six months.

⇒ It is over six months since John had his hair cut

Cấu trúc: It is/ it's + time + since + S + ...

Dịch : Đã hơn sáu tháng kể từ khi John cắt tóc.

2. John and Mike got up late this morning.
⇒ Neither John nor Mike got up early this morning.

Dịch: Cả John và Mike đều không dậy sớm vào sáng nay.

3. John has not had his house decorated for over three years.

⇒ The last time John decorate his house was for over three years.

Dịch: Lần cuối cùng John trang trí ngôi nhà của mình đã hơn ba năm.

4. The child will die if nobody sends for a doctor.
⇒ Unless somebody sends the child to a doctor, he will die.

Dịch: Trừ khi ai đó đưa đứa trẻ đến bác sĩ, nó sẽ mất mạng.

5. He would prefer you to pay him immediately.

⇒ He'd rather you paid him immediately.

Dịch : Anh ấy muốn bạn trả tiền cho anh ấy ngay lập tức.

6. We couldn't find George anywhere

⇒ George was not found anywhere.

Dịch: George không được tìm thấy ở đâu cả.
