Do you agree or disagree with the following statement ? ''television has destroyed communication among friends and family''

Some people claim that television has destroyed communication among friends and family. In my opinion, I totally disagree with this for some reasons. First, people can enjoy watching TV together. For example, my family usually spend 1 hour after meal watching film. We have great time of relaxing and discussing characters, film scenes. Second, there are many programs such as: Ring the bell, The Voice, Vietnam Idol, Cartoons that attract students who have the same age to me. We have a common interest to talk about in breaktime.
