As Vietnam has become a member of ASEAN, the young in Vietnam in particular have to gain some important skills and qualities for globalization. First, the most important skill young people can develop before entering the new era is Global Citizenship. All countries in ASEAN have the same aim that co-operate to reach the success. So that, young people will now work with people from different cultures. Young people need to be well-versed in global citizenship, with an appreciation and understanding of other cultures. Learning a foreign language, especially English, known as the common language, is really important. Second, communication skills are perhaps second in importance when it comes to skills needed for corporation. No matter how great a person's intentions or ideas, if he or she cannot communicate effectively, many other skills will be of no great matter. They need communication skills to become confident in front foreign friends. Last but not least, an important skill to become a part of ASEAN is Collaboration.  Vietnamese young generation need to know how to work with the same age people from other countries as a team. It is shown that they are willing to be a friend to develop the countries together. In conclusion, Being a part of ASEAN is a challenge towards the young, the future generation, in country development.
