This happened to me summer when I was 15. There was a very quiet friend in my class. She hardly ever joined any activities of my class at the time. Everyone, including me, was assuming she was from a very rich and arrogant family, so nobody hanged out with her. That sunny summer morning, I was going out with my sister at a book fair when I saw her working there, very happy at the booth of a charity organization. Out of curiosity, I came over and asked an employee there about her and found out that she is from a very poor family, not only having to help out her parents with money but also she spends the rest of her time helping out other in need people in the area as long as she could. Realizing how wrong I was, I tried my best to get to know her since then and she is now my very best friend. She is the most generous person, even when she does not have much to give. It truly is never right to judge a book by its cover, isn't it?
