I myself live in an extended family. There are some advantages and some drawbacks. I am going to talk about the strong points. Firstly, because an extended family is a family in which many generations live together, it's warmer and more hustle and bustle. My grandparents grouse about children's mess, and the kids always are noisy, and I can't help laughing about that. Secondly, I can find a lot of help in the experienced generations like my grandparents, my parents and my uncle and aunt. Because we live together, the distance is not a matter anymore, and I can ask them for advice anytime I need. Finally, living in an extended family helps me have clever behaviors. I would know how to respect the old, how to treat the young, and how to live with others harmoniously. On the other hand, living in an extended family has numerous disadvantages. It's a conflict between old predictions and young minds. I sometimes don't feel comfortable because I am not permitted to go out after 9 pm by my grandparents. Sometimes my parents don't listen to my grandparents about how to raise my baby sister. It's a part of life, but I am tired of that. The biggest trouble is too hard to live together in a small house. We all feel inconvenient when doing something and being seen by others too much.
