This year I am in fourth grade. Because I have to study and do a lot of homework, my parents have arranged for me a neat and cool study corner. The most special thing is the lovely study table placed next to the window overlooking the shady green garden.
The table is made of mixed wood, not a good wood, but thanks to the varnish it is very glossy, the same dark brown color as the chairs and bookshelves. The table top is rectangular, the length is exactly one arm's length, the width is just three gangs, slightly tilted towards the chair, creating a comfortable posture when I sit and write. The gloss of the varnish accentuates the beautiful wood grain. The front edge of the table has a long, concave groove to help me hold pens, rulers, erasers... from rolling down the slope of the table. Underneath the table is a rather large drawer, which I can pull out and close easily when grasping the iron handle. In this drawer, she holds technical learning tools, a school set for learning math, many boxes of whiteboard and color chalk, even a bunch of centipede-shaped elastic bands, holding round pebbles to play umbrellas.. The four legs of the table are large and sturdy square wooden bars, the edges are smooth. Three flatter wooden slats form an H at the base of the table near the ground to keep the legs more stable.
After finishing school, I usually tidy up the books and things on the table and then wipe the table with a soft cloth. I never carelessly or intentionally write or draw graffiti on the table. Therefore, after using it for half a year, the table is still new.
I love this desk very much because it always study hard with me every day. Putting my cheek on the table, I heard a cool breeze like a wind blowing from the ancient forest where this tree lived. I thought I heard the whispering words of the wind: "Old lady, study hard! We trust you a lot!"
I remember when I entered the first grade year, my father bought me a beautiful wooden desk with the message: "There is a new desk, try to study hard!". Attached to the table is a two-story bookshelf located directly above, pressed against the wall, and a very soft padded chair. All of them are painted sky blue, my favorite color. Flat, rectangular table top. On it I put a school lamp, an alarm clock and a very beautiful piggy bank. Second grade textbooks, notebooks and comics are placed in separate compartments on the bookshelf. Every night after I finished studying, I put up the chairs and then rearranged the desk to be neat. Last year, I won the title of excellent student. The certificate of merit was hung neatly by my father in the corner of the study as a reminder to me to try harder.
