Do you think advertisement are deceptive? Why or why not

I think advertisement is deceptive because of the following reasons: 

Firstly, Advertising is the art of convincing people to spend money they don't have for something they don't need. Advertising is inherently deceptive, most profitable when it hoodwinks people into paying more for something than they should.

Finally, many customers are scammed because of the eye-catching and perfect product images with high reviews without knowing that it is one of the salesman's tricks. And by the time I know the truth, it's too late

In short, I think we shouldn't believe on the internet or lies from sellers that should be carefully researched before buying it
