Lũ lụt thường xuyên xảy ra ở miền Trung, gây thiệt hại và thiếu thốn cho người dân nơi đây. Tình trạng thiếu lương thực và hàng hóa cũng được báo cáo trong trận lụt. Gần đây, lũ lụt ở miền Trung Việt Nam năm `2020` đã gây ra sức tàn phá lớn. Miền Trung hứng chịu `3` trận lũ, `4` trận bão và hàng loạt vụ sạt lở đất trong tháng `10` và tháng `11` năm `2020,` làm `159` người chết và `71` người mất tích. Nhiều người dân ở các thành phố khác đã đóng góp vào sự phát triển của miền Trung không chỉ thông qua chính quyền mà còn thông qua hành động của họ. Với mục đích ngăn ngừa thiệt hại do lũ lụt trong tương lai, một số dự án trồng rừng đã được thực hiện. Cây xanh hấp thụ và lưu trữ nước mưa, giúp giảm thiểu nước chảy và bồi lắng sau bão. Ngoài ra, hệ thống lưu trữ phải hiệu quả. Tôi hy vọng trong tương lai hậu quả của lũ lụt sẽ ngày càng ít hơn.
